KAWAK AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES PROVE ESSENTIAL IN FIGHTING CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES
During the recent wave of wild fires in Southern California, Kawak Aviation's Hydraulic snorkel pump proved essential to the Air Operations Division of the San Diego Fire Department. During the first nine hours on the scene, San Diego's Copter 1, equipped with Kawak's hydraulic snorkel pump, made 127 water drops. That's an average of one drop every four minutes! The crew of Copter 1 is credited with saving lives and numerous structures.
KAWAK AVIATION RECEIVES FAA CERTIFICATION FOR INTEGRATED GPS & HYDRAULIC CONTROL TECHNOLOGY FOR AERIAL APPLICATION
Kawak Aviation has received FAA certification for an auxiliary hydraulic system on Air Tractor models 502, 602, 802 & Thrush models S2R-T and G series aircraft. The system was developed in conjunction with Air Repair, Inc. of Cleveland, Miss. and integrates the most advanced GPS and hydraulic control technology available to the aerial application industry. This innovative system allows constant and variable rate application of both liquid and dry material.
